I had to leave a comment. Since using something called KitMaker to create over 300x kits for Groove Agent in Cubase, I couldn't for the life of me work out why I couldn't trigger the sounds or record them using my Maschine Mikro. I was about to throw it out of the window after a few days of viewing UA-cam videos all with complex config instructions for HUGE templates and not for the Mikro, when I stumbled on your Video. Although the main portion of this Video is excellent and much more straight forward than the others and I have downloaded your Template, it wasn't that that fixed my issue. It was just when you clicked on the GROUP button during your config. Lightbulb moment !!! All I had to do was hold GROUP down and click to move Groove Agent in Cubase to talk to the third Group instead of Group 1. I could see the Mikro triggering Group 1 via Midi but for the life of me couldn't change it. So THANK YOU .. all I had to do was click GROUP then "15 octave" and BAM it works !!!!! You have NO IDEA how pleased I am so thank you for indirectly solving a problem I have been at for DAYS ... :) You have a Subscriber for life .. lol.

Editorial on this video in June 2024: File Name for Image must be MST_artwork and the picture should be a png file. Only downloading the image will give you a Webp file. You will need to covert the file type to png inorder for Kontakt to recognize it.

I am not usually an envious type of guy but I am VERY envious of your Studio/Setup. Also having discovered you through the Forzo Demo (which resulted in me buying it), you are clearly not only talented as a Composer but a nice guy. SOOOOO frustrating to have to not find fault .. lol :) Awesome stuff.

when drawing MIDI, the shaker is off timing (late), i'm aware because it has to include pre-hit of the shaker sample. What's the best method to remedy this? I tried to adjust the quantization of the midi but it takes a longer time to hit the perfect timing

I love the rich sound of the hammered articulation, but the hammer attack itself is too heavy and noisy for some places where I can imagine using this sound. I guess this would be a case for using the Offset knob, to start the playback a bit later in the sample. The slow strum is a very cool sound too! I can imagine layering it with symphonic strings to give a melody an exotic edge.

It's a gorgeous library and is completely worth its price! It has such a bunch of articulations and effects that becomes a very helpful scoring tool. And this crossfade option is awesome! The only library where I met such a cool feature, was Chris Hein solo violin. Great job, Soundiron!

Thanks, I have LogicPro on iMac 40gb ram, and I constantky have the out of memory issues, why do you say in a comment hat a SSD driver could help? I have all the l8braries in an external SSD drive, is there any chance to use the driver in real time instead of loading the samples in the ram? Or at least sharing 50-50? Or do all samples must be read from the ram?

Ive got this library -- great stuff for straight ahead drum kit work, but also has a bunch of brushes, hot rods and articulations that any midi programmer would love. It's one of those libraries that gives you the tools to create an amazingly realistic drum track if you choose to put in the time.
